37 WEEKS

Well, here I am. Close to the end. Seems like yesterday I saw 2 little lines turn pink. Its a little hard to believe! Like my other pregnancys this one has gone smoothly.

In April we found out we are having a BOY!! We thought we were going to wait to find out, but I ended up having a sonogram and when the sonogram technichian asked If a wanted to know the gender (if she could tell)... I said YES! We had a brief moment where his foot was blocking the ummm, (ahem) view, but then he moved it and she announced it was a boy :) It was a fun surprise cause we were kinda thinking it was a girl. My little sister was right the whole time. She kept telling me it was a boy! We are so excited and cant wait to meet him!

Brison took this picture of me (thus the angle). I am just now starting to get people asking me when I'm due so I must be looking pregnant!

His name has been picked out for awhile and like my other childrens name I LOVE IT! And like my other children we wont be telling his name until after he is born. At my nieces birthday party last week my sister and friend kept bribing me with all kinds of stuff trying to get me to tell! HAHA! Cracked me up. Until he is here in my arms, my lips are sealed on the matter! Brison and Shanna are anxious to know too and keep asking me as well!

Well, being 37 weeks means we are definitly on baby count down around here. Its all very exciting! WE are blessed.

St. Pattys day 2012

As the smell of corned beef wafts in from the stove I thought I would take a minute to sit and write...
The unusually warm weather around these parts are wonderful! My clothes are out on the line drying(yay!)
Finally got the strawberry patch that I have been promising the kids for awhile planted!
Got a plot of Asparagus planted!( I have been promising myself that I would get to that for FAR to long!)

We have several newborn baby calves wondering the property and a very unhappy dog who seemed to have taken it upon himself to *haze* said baby calves by chasing them... resulting in him NOW being tied up(stupid dog). We remind him on a daily basis that he brought this on himself (like it does any good!)as he looks longingly after us as we go about our chores outside. Ask me if he chased the coyote that was down in the pasture last week? (That would be a big NO) He stayed plastered by the shelter of the house and barked at it... Such a brave dog!! :(

Picked up a new bird feeder and put that out this week. The birds just this morning finally found it, and we enjoyed the little show that they put on this morning as we ate breakfast.

Well! That's it for now! Hope you have a fabulous St Pattys day and great weekend!

Doomsday

"Warning: Im about to burst your dooms day bubble for all your doomsdayers out there.

There have been about 514 leap years since Caesar created it in 45BC. Without the extra day every year today would be July 28th, 2013

Also the Mayan calendar did not account for leap year.... So techinally the world should have ended 7 months ago."

My sister posted this on pinterest today and I got the biggest kick out of it!!

Too cute

My son came up to me today and in so many words was questioning just exactly HOW this baby got in my belly :)
I think his exact words were "Why are we now going to have three kids in our home? Did you pray to God?"
HAHA! Had to share :)

Last Night...

I was folding laundry and had the show The Biggest Loser on. My son walked in the room and was shocked to see 'santa' on the show! It was hilarious. I couldn't convince him that that WASN'T Santa! :) But it was so cute!

Also last night, the kids and I got on the topic of the new baby... Up to this point anytime anybody would ask B "Do you want a little brother"? he would always respond with "I don't know what it is"! And baby girl would always respond with "its a boy" ( I believe this came from the fact that she has an older brother and so I think she just assumed this would be a boy as well. That's my theory anyway!)
Anyway! Last night It finally kinda hit both of the kids what it would mean if the baby is their own gender. B started talking (pretty much out of the blue!) about how he REALLY wants a brother! Also how he wouldn't mind sharing his room (awwwwwww) I think it actually hit him how neat it would be if he had a little brother. Though he DID ask if the baby would get his OWN toys :) Babygirl then chimed in that she wants it to be a girl(I think that's the first time I have heard her say that)
It was a very fun conversation to have with the kids. Hopefully nobody will be too disapointed though... cause unless Im carrying boy-girl twins somebodys NOT going to get what they want :)
I truly believe though the when they see their new sibling, be it boy or girl they will fall in love, as I know we all will.
